Job Description
As a Market Strategies Intern you will:
- Perform and support the Market Strategies team in gathering and organizing information and analyzing data
- Collect data and conduct comprehensive opportunity analyses for health systems health plans and physician organizations
- Rotate through Market Strategies focus areas including physician enterprise strategy/operations health system strategic planning clinical service line growth clinicallyintegrated networks and valuebased care models
- Learn to use and understand applications of healthcare claims data and other marketbased analytics
- Partner with leadership to identify targeted physicians for recruitment and assist in physician relationship development/ recruitment planning
A Day in the Life:
- Conduct research analyze data and translate strategic information that supports client partner objectives and deliverables under the supervision of the VP Market Strategies
- Attend meetings with Market Strategies leaders to gain exposure to and experience supporting client partner strategic initiatives
- Partner with Business Development leaders to research prospective client partners and analyze target markets

- Ability to conduct multichannel research and contribute to market analyses
- Consistently deliver highquality work that meets expectations within set deadlines
- Demonstrate a strong ability to collaborate and communicate with both team members and external stakeholders fostering a cohesive working environment
- Demonstrate ability to be a selfstarter and learn on the fly
We are excited about you if you have these things:
- Recent graduate or Junior/ Senior currently attaining Bachelors or Masters Degree in Healthcare Administration Business Administration Public Health or comparable field of study
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft office applications and database management
- Strong interpersonal communication and team building skills
- Desire for continuous development and learning opportunities
- Strong critical thinking problem identification and resolution skills
