Biomedical Systems Information Technology Specialist
Long Beach CA
Hourly Rate: $40.00 $50.00
Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Biomedical Systems Information Technology Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both biomedical systems and information technology. The work will be focused on the following: PACS DICOM HL7 Access Control List ACL network security VLAN configuration EMR projects (CERNER) subnetting IP addressing network troubleshooting new equipment installation and integration support server maintenance and maintaining a variety of biomedical equipment systems and devices within the healthcare space.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to understand their technological needs and requirements
- Design implement and maintain technology systems that support biomedical equipment and devices
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to biomedical systems and IT infrastructure
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in healthcare IT
- Train and support end users on the use of technology systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in biomedical engineering Information Technology or related field
- 4 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of biomedical systems and IT infrastructure
- Excellent problemsolving and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must pass Federal background check and drug screen.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
- Must have a valid United States drivers license.
