You will be contacted directly by Ardent Health after applying to this position.The department of Surgery is currently recruiting for a faculty member who practices colorectal surgery. The applicant must be BoardCertified or eligible in General Surgery have completed a colon and rectal surgery fellowship by the time of the appointment and be eligible for a Texas Medical License.Requirements:All aspects of providing Colorectal Surgical procedures at a highfunctioning Level 1 Trauma CenterAcademic affiliation with UT Tyler School of Medicine including Medical Education including Residents and Surgical FellowsMD or DO degree required.Applicant must be Board Certified/Eligible in General Surgery and must have completed a colon and rectal surgery fellowship by the time of the appointment and be eligible for a Texas Medical LicenseSuccessful candidates will be committed to patient care resident fellow and medical student education and scholarly activity that advance clinical medicineEducational responsibilities include the clinical training of general surgery residents and colorectal surgery fellowsExperience in laparoscopic or robotic surgery is required Recruitment Package may include:Base salary CME allowance Medical debt assistance Consultative services by Navigate Student Loans Relocation allowance Residency stipend Paid malpractice coverage Health benefits Retirement plan Marketing practice growth assistanceWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race color sex age national origin religion sexual orientation gender identity status as a veteran and basis of disability or any other federal state or local protected class.
