Job Description

Job/Department Summary:

Under general supervision of the Director of Talent Management the Student Employment Analyst works as a strategic partner for assigned divisions assisting with the recruitment selection and onboarding of an inclusive and quality workforce and assisting with managing the classification and salary progression of existing unit 15 student employees. Using independent judgment discretion and authority the Student Employment Analyst develops recommends establishes and communicates human resources services programs and procedures as they pertain to recruitment and student employment matters. Responsibilities include implementation of policies procedures and processes associated with the recruitment and selection of student assistants and onboarding. The Student Employment Analyst will provide training and guidance to hiring managers and will conduct training on recruitment and hiring processes and policies.

Required Education and Experience:

The knowledge skills and abilities listed above would normally be obtained through a bachelors degree and/or equivalent training and two years of fulltime administrative work experience involving study analysis and/or evaluation leading to the development or improvement of administrative policies procedures practices or programs.

Preferences:

Preference may be given to applicants with the following as they may be considered specialized skills:

  • Experience developing and delivering training.

  • Prior experience with an applicant tracking system.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Ability to independently problem solve situations.

  • Prior experience collaborating with multiple departments.

Time Base: Fulltime

Pay Plan: 12/12

Work Schedule: MonFri 8:00am5:00pm Summer MonThurs 7:005:30.

CSU Classification Salary Range: $55176 $99816 per year.
