Job Description:

Role:Team Leader (Individual Contributor to begin with) BMS Design & Development

Experience & CTC:4 to 6year experience. CTC 6 to 10 Lakh PA

Reporting to: Fixedline to CEO and on a dotted line to the MD

Reporters:

Individual contributor to begin with. As business picks up team members to be added

Key Responsibilities:

Battery Management System development
Mission and safetycritical BMS embedded control functions such as battery state estimation fault detection balancing control temperature control and charging control using modelbased control development
Architect and design system concepts (Electronics SW Systemlevel Failures Reactions etc. for BMS
BMS functional unit tests and integration tests at various levels
BMS function verification following EN 50128 standard
BMS hardware systems in close interface with internal and external stakeholders including sensor selection and PCBs
FMEA for BMS hardware and software including critical safety features
System validation concept of BMS product
Simulation and modeling of system functions
Failure reactions and Failure reporting concepts
Cell Characterization and performance tuning

Functional Expertise:

Design and development of battery management system algorithms and software
Exposure to NMC and/or LFP Cell Chemistry based on LiIon Battery Packs
Requirements analysis and development
Control development using MATLAB/Simulink
Battery systems control and charge/discharge operations
Embedded system SW design development & validation
International standards of lithiumion cell and pack
BMS algorithms design
Functional safety standard ISO26262
Different market segments for LithiumIon battery

Educational Qualifications:BE/B.Tech / ME/MTech/MS
