Additional Information: This hotel is owned and operated by an independent franchisee North Point Hospitality. The franchisee is a separate company and a separate employer from Marriott International Inc. The franchisee solely controls all aspects of the hotels employment policies and practices including hiring firing discipline staffing compensation benefits and all other terms and conditions of employment. If you accept a position at this hotel you will be employed by a franchisee and not by Marriott International Inc.

SUMMARY:

As a member of the NPH Team the Pool Restaurant Server delivers an exceptional guest experience by warmly greeting customers and responding promptly and efficiently to their requests.

Essential Functions:

Serves ice water and/or coffee upon greeting the table.
Accurately relays order to kitchen or bar and serves courses from kitchen and service bars.
Garnishes and decorates dishes preparatory to serving.
Serves patrons from dish at table on occasion.
Observes diners to fulfill any additional request and to perceive when meal has been completed.
Totals bill and accepts payment or refers patron to cashier using arithmetic including making change.
Replenishes supplies and prepares for the next meal.
Takes the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
Must be min 18 years of age.
Valid TABC license
Must be authorized to work in the United States.
Must be able to maintain timeliness and attendance.
Attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Strong communication skills.

Work Environment: Semiprofessional work environment requiring uniform dress. Requires frequent interaction with guests and other employees. Routinely uses standard restaurant equipment point of sale system. Exposure to heat various food types.

Physical Demands: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

Frequent standing (up to 8 hours) walking occasional bending or reaching.
