Our team of dedicated therapists work collaboratively with educators families and other professionals to provide evidencebased individualized and comprehensive support thus ensuring that all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Job Description:

As a schoolbased OTA you will play a vital role in delivering highquality occupational therapy services within an educational setting. You will be responsible for working with children across different grade levels planning interventions and developing instructional plans tailored to meet their specific functional and educational needs.

Start Date: Immediately

Location: Westside

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Provide ongoing treatment to assigned caseload.
  • Together with the supervising OT conduct assessments of children to gather information for goal setting intervention planning and consultation.
  • Collaborate with the educational team to contribute to individualized education plans that address the functional and educational needs of each child.
  • Provide dynamic interventions to help children build essential life skills excel in education and enhance their abilities for success.
  • Collaborate with the educational team and families to embed skillbuilding activities into daily routines both in the classroom and at home.
  • Documentation and data collection of ongoing therapy.

Requirements:

  • Current licensure to practice Occupational Therapy within the state of Ohio
  • Ohio Department of Education Certification (can be completed upon hire)
  • Experience working as an Occupational Therapist Assistant in a school or educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong assessment and intervention planning skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
  • Passion for working with children and helping them overcome developmental educational and motor challenges.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying updated on the latest research and techniques in occupational therapy.
