At N26 our Infrastructure Security team is on a mission to detect and remediate IT and cloud infrastructure security threats. Were dedicated to providing efficient and effective services that empower our N26 tech teams to thrive.
In this role you will:
- Shape the Future: Drive the roadmap for our IT Infrastructure Security function working closely with the Product Manager Tech Lead and Engineering Manager.
- Innovate: Lead initiatives create solutions establish processes and develop frameworks to proactively identify and mitigate security threats within our Corporate IT landscape ultimately boosting our security maturity.
- Stay Ahead: Stay on the cutting edge of cybersecurity by conducting regular research to detect new attack vectors.
- Collaborate: Conduct Threat Modeling Sessions assess and classify security threats and collaborate with stakeholders to define threat mitigation solutions.
- Deliver Excellence: Offer toptier support to our main stakeholders.
- Lead the Charge: Be part of our security incident response oncall rotation (voluntary) and take the lead in managing security incidents.
What you need to be successful:
Knowledge & Engineering practices
- InDepth Technical Expertise: Extensive handson experience in Endpoint Security Email Security DLP MDM Network Security Identity and Access Management and safeguarding corporate critical applications.
- Security Savvy: Indepth knowledge of common security frameworks and tactics including STRIDE MITRE ATT&CK and OWASP.
- Tool Mastery: Experience in configuring corporate applications and security tools to address threats and reduce risk.
- Scripting Wizardry: Proficiency in Python Bash PowerShell for scripting and automation.

- Ethical Hacker: Experience with ethical hacking and penetration test methodologies.

- Educational Background: A Masters degree in cybersecurity or a related field or a Bachelors degree in computer science or a related field with an advanced security certification.
