Job Description
Join Our Team at Garden Gate Healthcare Facility!
We are seeking a dedicated RN Director of Education to lead our education and training initiatives. In this vital role you will oversee staff development programs enhance clinical competencies and ensure regulatory compliance while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence in resident care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan organize and direct staff development and education programs.
- Oversee Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives.
- Develop and implement training on clinical skills infection control and other essential topics.
- Lead and mentor nursing staff to improve their skills and clinical knowledge.
- Monitor compliance with healthcare regulations and facility policies.
- Collaborate with nursing leadership to ensure resident care meets the highest standards.
- Facilitate mandatory inservice training and continuing education for nursing staff.
- Participate in developing policies to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience with a focus on education or training.
- Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
- Experience in quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
- Passion for teaching and fostering professional development.
