POSITION:
Home Alone Child Care Worker
RESPONSIBLE TO :
Superintendent Director of Instruction Program Director Master Teacher(s)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
Direct supervision of up to 20 schoolage children; maintain clean safe and sanitary environment; be alert of individual needs of children; structure activities to meet the need and developmental levels of the children; maintain standards set forth by the licensing unit of the Dept. of Human Services; become familiar with the mandatory reporting of child abuse; communicate with parents on regular basis.
TRAINING:
- Minimum of 20 clock hours of training in child care child development and early childhood or other childcare related subjects per employment year.
- A onehour program orientation is required during the first week of employment.
- Must take CPR first aid training and fire extinguisher class within first month of employment.
