Job Description
Department of Biochemistry at Wake Forest University School of Medicine Winston Salem North Carolina is seeking a qualified individual for an R01 supported postdoctoral fellow position to conduct research. The position is available immediately.
The applicant should be highly motivated team worker. This position requires a Ph.D. degree or equivalent in cell biology molecular biology or ophthalmology from a University and at least 2 years research experience in vision research field. This postdoctoral fellow will conduct independent research project studying molecular mechanism of subretinal fibrosis in agerelated macular degeneration and its association with Wnt signaling. The person will fulfill required duties as a University employee. The employee is required to publish research papers and make presentations in scientific meetings. This person will also participate in mentoring new students in experimental skills.
