Statement: The University of Maine at Augusta is seeking qualified applicants to teach a variety of lifescience classes. The successful candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching and to developing an innovative curriculum. Potential courses taught may include Human Biology (BIO 100 Human Nutrition (BIO 104 General Biology I (BIO 110 Anatomy and Physiology (BIO 210 Microbiology (BIO 321 and other labbased courses in support of nonmajors. Qualifications
Required:
- Masters degree or higher in natural sciences or related field.
Preferred:
- Prior college level teaching experience using new technologies in teaching experience with digital learning management systems such as Brightspace discipline related work experience and teaching nontraditional students preferred.
- Experience working with diverse student populations and interest in contributing to UMAs Diversity Equity and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives.
Salary: The salary range is per credit hour and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
