The role
The Head of Data & AI will play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering the Data & AI vision. The role will initially focus on optimizing the data infrastructure ensuring robust governance and creating a datafirst culture. Part of this will be the integration of advanced data science ML and AI solutions into the business. Following on to that the role offers perspectives across the wider business including the development of data products. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and handson Head of Data to lead a lean function with autonomy to shape its future and define and own the data and AI strategy.

- Define and implement a data and AI/ML strategy
- Analyze the business needs and recommend datadriven strategies to enhance internal operations and decisionmaking
- Assess and introduce AI/ML products and technologies that align with business goals
- Identifyopportunities to maximize the commercial value of data
- Utilize AI and ML applications to enhance operational efficiency and decisionmaking
- Oversee and evolve the existing data architecture into a highly scalable and efficient base for advanced analytics and AI use cases
- Ensure data integrity quality and compliance through strong governance practices
- Managementorand develop our data team
- Oversee andoptimizedatavisualizationand reporting tools
- Democratizedata and enable the business to make datadriven decisions
- Act as an advisor to senior stakeholders communicating complex data concepts in a clear and compelling way
- Collaborate with internal teams toidentifyopportunities where data and AI can drive value
- Build a strong partnership between the data function and other business units to ensure alignment with strategic goals
What we are looking for
- Masters degreeinMathematicsStatistics Data AnalyticsComputer Science Business InformaticsEngineeringPhysicsor a related field.PhD is a plus
- At least5years of experienceindata analytics data strategy AI orin asimilarfield
- Commercially savvy with a strong understanding of how to align data initiatives with business objectives
- Familiarity with AI ML and data science applications and the ability to assess their strategic relevance
- Expertisein data warehousing data architecture and data governance
- Strong knowledge of BI tools and data visualization best practice
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to engage andconvince others
- Good german language skills (at least level B2 as well as good english language skills are a must have
