Amazons Last Mile Technology has the operational focus of providing new and different technologies to solve challenges in the last mile delivery space. We want to ensure a topinclass customer experience from the time a customer places an order on Amazon to the time it lands in the customers hands. We are looking for talented Software Development Engineers to design and build these new systems and products. You will work on hard problems at scale and will have autonomy to deliver. You will learn about realtime adaptive transportation solutions routing algorithms and optimizations operating on large scale datasets mobile development and more.

Key job responsibilities
Basic qualifications
3 years of noninternship professional software development experience
2 years of noninternship design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
3 years of Video Games Industry (supporting title Development Release or Live Ops) experience
Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred qualifications
3 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
5 years of noninternship professional software development experience
5 years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
5 years of leading design or architecture (design patterns reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
Experience as a mentor tech lead or leading an engineering team
5 years of full software development life cycle including coding standards code reviews source control management build processes testing and operations experience
Bachelors degree in computer science or equivalent
