Position Summary
Roosevelt Universitys Criminal Justice program is recruiting adjunct faculty to prepare students for leadership roles within the criminal justice field. Our core courses dive into contemporary issues facing the decisionmakers of the American criminal justice system with an emphasis on the skills necessary to become an effective leader. We are seeking talented faculty committed to student success to guide our students as they explore the tensions and challenges in the criminal justice system from a social justice perspective seeking to improve our current system for the benefit of all. Preferred Qualifications
A terminal degree is preferred. The ideal candidate for methods and theory courses will have a PhD or will be in the process of getting a PhD. PhDs with publications in their field are highly valued. Professional experience is desirable.
