How Youll Impact Patient care:
Your responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- Process medication orders and prescriptions from physicians and nurses.
- Supervise technicians to ensure timely and accurate medication dispensing optimizing staff utilization.
- Deliver pharmaceutical care for optimal patient outcomes.
- Contribute to quality improvement efforts through teamwork.
- Continuously update and document skills and knowledge.
- Maintain documentation for compliance with standards and regulations.
- Set personal goals to support departmental objectives.
- Provide ageappropriate care following guidelines.
- Foster a cooperative work environment through effective communication and teamwork.
What You Will Need:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy with a B.S. in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D. is required.
- Current state pharmacist license in good standing through North Carolina Board of Pharmacy is required.
Nice To Have (Not Required):
- Completion of an ASHPaccredited PGY1 residency or equivalent experience.
- Clinical Pharmacist Practitioner (CPP) or application for licensure will be initiated following employment.
- Board certification or advanced credentialing (e.g. BCACP BCPS CDE) is preferred.
