System Requirements

Position Summary

Incumbents in this position conduct training programs perform onsite visits to determine if posttraining knowledge transfer is successful and consult with onsite supervisory staff and the Training Manager to recommend additional learning solutions as necessary; and perform related work as required. The basic purpose of this work is to conduct training and support posttraining knowledge transfer for state agencies.

Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain training facilities and database

Provide input to training course/program design

Correct/Update course materials

Based on direction from the Training Manager make corrections and/or minor updates to existing course materials. (For example updating existing training courses with details from Training Update messages published on the RVM website).

Participate as Active Member of the Training Department Team

Professional Development/Continuous Learning

Minimum Entrance Requirements

Applicants must have at least (A) three years of fulltime or equivalent parttime professional experience in teaching instructing or training work which included the planning development or implementation of educational or employee training programs as a major duty or (B) any equivalent combination of the required experience and the substitutions below.

Substitutions:

I. A Bachelors degree with a major in education may be substituted for a maximum of two years of the required (A) experience*

II. A Graduate degree with a major in education may be substituted for the required experience.

*Education toward such a degree will be prorated on the basis of the proportion of the requirements actually completed.
