Job Description

The Senior Programmer is responsible for testing and commissioning systems. This includes setting up installingoperating testing and troubleshooting Audio/Video/Control and relatedequipment to create an experience that will help our clients impress theiraudience.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Understand and review all drawings so that allrelated information Schedules and documentation is understood.
- Verify all of the drawings code site pictures and job description arecomplete and you have access to them.
- Ensure the equipment is programmed configured and tested before onsiteinstallation so that it delivers the functionality as defined in the SoW.
- Complete walk through of the site with the PM and go over all details of theinstallation.
- Configure network switches
- Program DSP and load control code as necessary.
- Create enduser guides and conduct enduser training.
- Ensure that the job is completed to ASW and industry standards for a safe andfully functional system.
- Update mission progress in PlanGrid and Zoho Projects at the end of each day.
- Ensure that all equipment is connected per the drawings.
- If the drawings are incorrect for functionality mark the necessary changesaccordingly in PlanGrid..
- Submit all changes to engineering for asbuilt drawings.
Requirements
- CTSI or CTSD
- Crestron CTI
- QSys Control 201
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven customer service experience
- IP networking knowledge
- AV and IT system troubleshooting skills
- IP network switch and router configuration including VLAN and QoS prioritization
- Understanding of networking protocols like TCP/IP DNS DHCP HTTP SSL and others.
- Setup and connection of VTC units (Cisco Lifesize Polycom etc)
- Setup and load code into Control Systems (QSys Crestron AMX Extron etc)
- Setup and load code into DSP (BSS Biamp ClearOne etc)
- Configure Interactive displays (SMART Planar etc)
- Wireless Microphone frequency coordination
- Video Wall setup and configuration
- Occasional after hours and/or travel may be required.
