Rate of Pay: $22.00 $28.00 per hour (Depending on Years of Experience)
Centurion is proud to be the provider ofcomprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking a PartTime Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our Behavioral Health team at Maryland Correctional Institution for Women (MCIW)located in Jessup Maryland.
Behavioral Health CNAs work under the close direction of nursing medical and psychiatric staff to perform direct patient care to incarcerated individuals. Assist patients by supporting personal hygiene daily living needs and vital sign monitoring.
Shift Details: PartTime Evenings 16 hours/week (Weekends)
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- CNA or other medical paraprofessional certification required
- CNA licensure in Maryland required
- Training experience or certification as a nurses aide medical technician or mental health worker preferred
- One year of experience in acute care longterm care emergency or correctional setting preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in CardioPulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance to include drug screen and criminal background check
