The Role
We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to drive the design development and implementation of scalable highperformance software solutions. You will work handson with modern programming languages frameworks and architectures to ensure robust and adaptable systems. As a senior contributor youll lead technical initiatives mentor engineers and solve complex software challenges.
Essential Responsibilities
Software Development & Engineering
- Architect implement and integrate scalable software solutions across the full development lifecycle.
- Develop and optimize multilanguage software systems primarily using C/C Python Java and Rust.
- Build and maintain fullstack applications leveraging JavaScript UI frameworks (React Redux Angular) and backend technologies (Python Rust).
- Write efficient highquality and maintainable code following Agile methodologies.
System Optimization & Maintenance
- Enhance usability performance and security of existing software solutions.
- Debug profile and troubleshoot complex software applications.
- Modernize legacy systems improving codebase maintainability and scalability.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Guide and mentor engineers fostering best practices and technical growth.
- Work closely with crossfunctional teams to design and implement innovative solutions.
- Coordinate integrate and resolve defects in collaboration with test teams.
Required Skills & Experience
Programming Expertise
- 5 years of experience in fullstack development using JavaScript (React Redux Angular) TypeScript and backend technologies Python or Rust.
- Strong understanding of C/C and Python for systemlevel programming.
- Proficiency in Java and shell scripting languages.
Software Development & Architecture
- Experience developing deploying and maintaining containerized applications (Docker Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of configuration management tools (Git etc..
- Handson experience with bug tracking and issue management tools (JIRA etc..
- Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies (Scrum Kanban).
Security & Compliance
- Understanding of secure coding practices and software assurance principles.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Security Clearance.
Education
Bachelors degree in systems engineering computer science computer engineering electrical engineering mathematics physics or a related technical field.
Preferred Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related STEM field.
- Experience with highperformance computing (HPC) environments.
- Familiarity with cloudnative architectures and DevSecOps principles.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks encryption or secure communications.

Salary for this position will range from $120000$150000 depending on experience skills and education.
