Qualifications and requirements

12 years Med/Surge experience preferred
Department/Unit Summary
The Radiation Oncology Department is a specialized team dedicated to providing highquality care to patients undergoing radiation therapy for cancer treatment. Our department works collaboratively with the radiation oncologist radiation therapists physicists and dosimetrists to deliver personalized care plans aimed at maximizing treatment efficacy while minimizing side effects. As a nurse in our Radiation Oncology Department you will play a key role in patient care supporting individuals throughout their treatment journey. Your responsibilities will include managing side effects providing education emotional support ensuring patient safety monitor patient progress and serve as a vital communication link between patients and the multidisciplinary care team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic patientcentered environment where you will have a direct impact on patients physical and emotional wellbeing.
