Job Description
Overview
Immediate Hiring Need for a Controls Technician
Are you a skilled technician experienced in preventive maintenance repair installation and commissioning of control systems Join our growing team and work with cuttingedge commercial and industrial equipment. Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot control system and complete repairs
- Diagnose and repair complex control system malfunctions utilizing extensive knowledge of various electronic or digital control systems
- Create flow diagrams sequence of operations bill of materials network layouts and electrical schematics
- Propose field retrofits upgrades and enhancements to existing equipment
- Write modifications in multiple languages of systems software
- Load and commission system and networklevel controllers
- Validate complete system functionality and troubleshoot issues with subcontractors and other trades
- Consult with customers through data analysis and site assessments
- Assist sales by offering technical recommendations for leads
- Document field changes and discrepancies for engineering corrections
- Train customers in control system operations
Qualifications
- Minimum of two 2 years of experience in comfort building automation
- Experience installing and servicing control systems on HVAC equipment
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to explain technical information to technical and nontechnical people
- Effective writing skills as well as understanding of programs and software applications
- Knowledge of control theory automatic temperature controls building automation systems and other building subsystems
- Not Required But Our Ideal Candidate Would Have:
- Experience in HVAC systems programming
