Responsibilities
Peraton is seeking Summer 2025 Interns to become a part of our handson and multifaceted intern program at various Peraton sites predominantly in the Northern Virginia/ Washington DC metro area. Depending on the program and given the current workforce climate the summer internship may be able to be supported remotely.
This position is a pipeline position with a purpose to collect applicants. No hires will be made against this position but rather will be treated as an interest application.

Our intern program places an emphasis on developing the next generations workforce; designed to provide college students with the opportunity to learn about Peraton gain meaningful real world work experience in a professional environment and work on programs that enable missions of national importance. As part of our internship curriculum we provide the opportunity for each intern to interact with various branches of the company. This includes attending brown bag sessions with our executive leadership team joining developmental learning lessons and participating in teambuilding activities with mentors and fellow interns. We foster a culture of mentoring continuous learning and team orientation that will be evident from your first day on the job. Under direct supervision our interns perform various handson tasks and assignments for the organizations professional staff in disciplines such as Engineering Software Development Database Management Security Threat Analysis Human Resources Marketing and Finance.

We ask that each intern be available to work the duration of the ten weeks (June to August) and commit to working a minimum of 35 hours per week. This program is geared towardtechnical college students actively enrolled at a four year university who will be rising into their junior or senior years. However strong underclassmen may be considered if they have declared their major and have completed qualified coursework.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- HS Diploma and some advanced level training.
- US Citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance if applicable and dictated by the program/contract.
- Must be actively pursuing a 4 year degree at an accredited university.
- Must be pursuing a degree in Computer Science Computer Engineering Electrical Engineering Aerospace Engineering Mathematics Business Information Technology Business Finance Human Resources or related field.
- A passion for learning helping others and contributing value to the mission in any way possible.
- Ability to create sustain and enhance fostering of team dynamics and collaboration.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to quickly adapt and learn new technologies and concepts.
- You are selfmotivated independent detail oriented responsible teamplayer.
Desired Qualifications:
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proficiency using Microsoft office.
- An ideal candidate would be a rising junior or senior.
