Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Structural Engineer (PE) with expertise in multifamily buildings to join our dynamic team. In this role you will lead and contribute to the structural design of diverse projects with a strong focus on apartment buildings and multilevel structures. Your proficiency in posttensioning and extensive experience will be crucial in ensuring the successful delivery of highquality structural designs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the structural design of multifamily buildings and other complex structures.
- Collaborate with architects engineers and other stakeholders to develop innovative and efficient designs.
- Utilize your expertise in posttensioning to optimize structural performance.
- Apply knowledge of seismic and wind design principles to ensure safety and resilience.
- Review and approve structural calculations drawings and specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
- Active Professional Engineering License (PE).
- 520 years of relevant experience in structural engineering with a strong focus on multifamily buildings.
- Proficiency in relevant design codes standards and technical software.
- Experience in high seismic and wind regions.
- Expertise in structural steel woodframed construction elevated concrete and posttensioned concrete.
- Familiarity with expansive soils and their impact on foundation design.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
