Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential need for a Certified Nursing Assistant at the Palo Alto VAMC in California.
Spectrum Healthcare Resources has a potential need for a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at the Palo Alto VA Medical Center with opportunities to work at the following locations:
- Menlo Park CA
- Palo Alto CA
- Livermore CA

Qualifications:
- Active California CNA Certification
- Current BLS Certification
- 2 Years of Clinical Experience
- U.S. Citizenship
- High School Diploma
Key Responsibilities:
Direct Patient Care 90 of the time):
- Deliver comprehensive nursing assistant services comparable to those in toptier civilian medical facilities.
- Collaborate effectively with patients families and physicians to ensure highquality care.
- Provide care at all stages adhering to VA and Joint Commission standards.
- Operate and maintain medical equipment necessary for care delivery.
- Educate patients and their families on health and wellness topics.
Administrative Duties 10 of the time):
- Participate in quality improvement activities and meetings.
- Complete quality assurance and performance improvement documentation.
- Maintain adherence to infection control standards and ensure patient safety.
- Accurately document care in the electronic medical record system.
Work Schedule:
- FullTime 40 hours per week
- Flexible shifts available between 7:00 AM and 12:00 AM
- Sample shifts include:
- 7:00 AM 3:30 PM
- 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
- 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- 10:30 AM 7:00 PM
- 11:30 AM 8:00 PM
- 12:30 PM 9:00 PM
- 3:30 PM 12:00 AM
- Enjoy 11 federal holidays off with no oncall responsibilities.
