Job Description

About the Position

We are looking for a Construction Project Manager to oversee our interior commercial projects as we acquire renovate and build out our offices around the world. You will be expected to manage multiple projects simultaneously some already in progress and some still in the idea phase.

From an engineering perspective our goal is to design and deliver highly reliable facilities trading floors and offices for our firm. Every site project must consider the features and systems that are essential for Jane Street to function like connectivity and resilience.

There are a lot of moving pieces to this creative effort. You will help us develop and implement our vision while also keeping us on schedule and on budget. Responsibilities will include:

  • All aspects of project management including defining goals making budgets and timelines tracking milestones managing risk procuring materials and quality control
  • Contributing to all phases of the buildout project including space planning design phasing and sequencing managing and supervising site work occupancy and closeout
  • Taking the initiative to provide status updates to the larger team
  • Managing external vendor contractor and landlord relationships
  • Working closely with other Jane Street teams including Facilities Networking Security/ Physical Security Audio Visual IT and Office Administration

You will be joining an exciting interdisciplinary group with a range of expertisefrom architects and engineers to project and cost managerswho design build and operate our spaces worldwide. We scrutinize every detail to optimize our offices and facilities and we often look beyond convention to find new ways to help our colleagues do their best work. After all we are not just consulting on the space were living in it too.

About You

  • 5 years project management assistant project management or superintendent experience in commercial construction with projects ranging from 500k to 50 million (UK)
  • Working knowledge of mechanical electrical fire protection and plumbing systems
  • Deadlinedriven and able to prioritise tasks across many projects
  • A problem solver who can think creatively to keep projects moving forward smoothly
  • Engineering architecture or construction management degree preferred
  • PlanGrid Autodesk Build BIM Collaborate Bluebeam MS Project AutoCAD REVIT/BIM MS Office experience preferred
  • Experience working in missioncritical environments is a plus
  • Fluency in English is required
