Job Description
Were looking for experienced web/frontend engineers who are looking to use the latest in web technology to move the company mission forward. You will work closely with the design team to create responsive and engaging user interfaces that provide a seamless user experience. You will also collaborate with backend engineers to ensure smooth integration between the frontend and backend of the application using Protobufs. Frontend engineers are expected to own the deploy process for the frontend service.

Requirements:
B.A. / B.S. / M.S. or strong selftaught fundamentals in computer science
Expertise in React Typescript and NodeJS with experience deploying live code to live traffic
A strong understanding of functional programming concepts
4 years of industry experience with demonstrated breadth and depth of product impact
Ability to analyze data and distill information for business purposes
Effectiveness as demonstrated by problemsolving skills in areas outside your expertise
Desire to form strong professional bonds with startupforward coworkers
Nice to haves:
Experience with NextJS Protobuf and Webpack
What to expect in the interview:
In your first interview round youll be building a simple app from scratch using one of the following frameworks of your choice: React Vue Solid Svelte or similar. Youll be able use any bootstrapping tool (like createreactapp) youd like and any dev environment as long as its screenshareable.

We dont cut corners when we know well need them but we dont build things without that need. We dont like inefficiency but we dislike operationalizing oneoff tasks even more.
Riskoriented. Everything has risk but a mature team knows how to make these tradeoffs. Thats why we built the MVP fastbecause time is your most valuable asset and is practically fungible with money in the startup world.
Dataobsessed. We all look at data and pull it and we believe that understanding the mechanics can yield valuable insights. Complex systems require elegant not just simple solutions. You absolutely need to be interested in data if you want to leverage your knowledge of systems.
