The City of Bothell is looking for an outgoing and eagertolearn person to be our next Parks Maintenance Worker in our Parks and RecreationDepartment. This position will be dedicated to maintaining the 26 parks 4 trail systems and 2 cemeteries within the Citys Park service area.The successful candidate will have a strong desire to learn and be trained in the maintenance of the Citys park infrastructure.
What will you do in this position
- Perform routine maintenance of City trail systems parks grounds and facilities.
- Operate a variety of vehicles equipment and hand and power tools.
- Work collaboratively with coworkers and staff from other departments.
- Interact with the public.
A successful candidate in this position will:
- Ensure clear and efficient communication of information and ideas through diverse communication channels.
- Take initiative for reaching objectives and achieving quality results.
- Collaborate both within the organization and externally to foster effective partnerships.
- Effectively evaluate and prioritize various tasks projects and demands.
