A wellestablished company and market leader in structural steel are looking for a Procurement Coordinator to join the business. Based at their offices in York this is a permanent role working Monday to Friday and offering a competitive salary hybrid working and an early finish on a Friday

Thesuccessful Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Placing orders for indirect consumables across various business units and locations.
  • Managing inbound purchase requisitions from multiple production facilities.
  • Obtaining quotes from preapproved suppliers and placing orders against price lists and supply agreements.
  • Reviewing invoices to confirm payments and delivery dates.
  • Ensuring our systems are consistently updated with accurate information.

The successful Procurement Coordinator will have some previous relevant experience from working in a procurement role ideally from within the construction or manufacturing sector. A solid understanding of Supply Chain principles and modern procurement practices are essential and you should have strong relationshipbuilding skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Strong attention to detail to manage multiple priorities is also essential

This Procurement Coordinator role offers an attractive salary up to 30000 and is a fulltime role working Monday Thursday 8.30am 5.15pm and 3pm on a Friday
