Were looking for Software Engineering interns who are passionate about solving some of the most difficult technical challenges the industry faces today. Were looking for interns who are not only adept at abstract problem solving but also want to be handson with fellow developers in one of the most fun allin highvelocity environments youll ever experience.
Our internship is based at our headquarters in McLean VA. Appian was built on a culture of inperson collaboration which we believe is a key driver of our mission to be the best. Interns hired for this position are expected to be in the office 5 days a week to foster that culture and ensure we continue to thrive through shared ideas and teamwork. Housing support is available for candidates whose permanent address is over 50 miles from headquarters.

To be successful in this role you need:
Previous industry software development experience and a passion for technology.
Drive to dig into the code pair program as needed collaborate and present your features and proposals to real stakeholders.
Teamoriented mindset and collaborative approach to delivering solutions. Youre also energetic results and delivery oriented and have a strong commitment to delivering quality work.
Familiarity in objectoriented programming languages such as Java & C
Basic qualifications:
Undergraduate student pursuing a Bachelors in Computer Science Information Technology Computer Engineering or related field
Strong analytical communication and problem solving skills
