Job Summary:

In this role you will be responsible for shaping the future of Emersons customer facing digital engineering applications. You will use your years of technical expertise and a proven understanding of the cloud native software domain to help us build industry leading digital engineering software applications
In this Role Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Design develop and implement new applications and improvements to existing ones using JavaScript Node.js React Cosmos DB and other relevant technologies.
- Demonstrate endtoend ownership of features modules and support services that you and your team will deliver in all phases of the software development lifecycle.
- Optimize software performance identifying and resolving bottlenecks via monitoring logging and metrics to enhance the user experience.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with other development teams nontechnical partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and deployment of clientside applications automating and enhancing build test and deployment processes.
- Participate in code and design reviews to ensure high quality code and alignment to coding standards.
You build and deliver solutions that meet customer expectations. You continually scan the environment for technology breakthroughs. You set stretch goals and objectives pushing individuals or teams to perform at higher levels. You rally others behind common team goals.
- Bachelors or masters degree or equivalent experience in computer science or a related engineering degree.
- Min. 2 to 7years of professional experience in software development with a strong emphasis on development of largescale cloud native web applications.
- Strong technical expertise in JavaScript Node.js React TypeScript CSS HTML Cosmos DB or similar frameworks and libraries.
- Experience in designing and developing REST APIs and microservices.
- Experience with modern software development practices version control systems agile methodologies continuous integration continuous delivery etc.
- 2 to 7 years of software development experience.
- Experience in building responsive and mobilefriendly user interfaces.
- Strong problemsolving skills possessing the ability to work independently or collaboratively to analyze and address complex technical challenges.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and those in nontechnical roles.
