The Concessions Manager provides management mentoring oversight and direction of venue concession operations at the Hall of Fame Village a subsidiary of the publicly traded Hall of Fame Resort & Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: HOFV HOFVW). The Concessions Manager will be responsible for inventory controls product ordering cash controls compliance with alcohol service policies cleaning safety guest service employee/volunteer training and supervision warehouse oversight troubleshooting closing duties event planning support food preparation and production and any other tasks within the new business facility. Additionally the role will be responsible for leading and motivating our hourly team members to provide a warm welcome and great food for our guests. The ideal candidate will be an experienced operations leader who is focused on people and quality standards. This position will report to the VP of Revenue.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
Provide superior guest service to visitors guests clients vendors and staff.
Supervision of assigned staff assuming daytoday responsibilities for personnelrelated matters that include but are not limited to:
o Assist during interview process onboarding and training new hires.
o Complete annual performance reviews for all supervised staff.
o Provide continuous feedback supervision and coaching to all supervised staff.
o Formal discipline supervised staff in conjunction with Human Resources.
o Create and maintain schedule assignments and attendance.
o Approve time clocks and make adjustments as needed including addition of necessary gratuities
o Respond in a timely manner to calls texts inquiries and emails.
o Enforce uniform protocol.
In conjunction with the VP of Revenue develop accurate and aggressive long and shortrange financial objectives for the Concessions area.
Plan coordinate and oversee all concession stand activities during events ensuring efficiency and profitability.
Conduct regular food safety audits in all concession environments.
Maintain precise inventory control and management tracking product levels and minimizing waste.
Regular equipment maintenance.
Restocking of concessions and bars to maximize event readiness.
Ensuring all appropriate alcohol service signage is placed and that Responsible Service of Alcohol protocols are followed.
Instrumental in development and use of inventory spreadsheet management month end procedures and overall control of F&B inventory.
Ensure compliance with all alcohol sanitation health and safety regulations laws and policies.
Managing product transfers and requisition sheets to accurately track products during events.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols through incident reporting accident management and monthly team member safety training.
Serve as the primary liaison with the health department and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with all standards and requirements.

Required Knowledge Skills & Desired Qualifications:
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED. Associates degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive food and beverage supervisory experience preferably in management.
Excellent interpersonal negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Knowledge of POS Systems (such as Toast) and Food and Beverage Equipment.
SERVSAFE Protection Manager Certification required.
DORA (Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area) experience is a plus.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Required to be able to communicate with employees coworkers volunteers management staff and guests in a clear businesslike and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative environment.
Ability to work a flexible schedule (nights weekends & holidays as necessary) is required.
Must be a flexible and reliable team player both within own department and entire organization.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of performance working quickly without compromising quality.
Must have the ability to demonstrate uncompromised judgment and discretion regarding confidential matters while maintaining confidentiality.
Proven ability in Microsoft Office Suite.
Physical Requirements for Position:
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
The ability to work in various Ohio weather conditions inside and outside.
The ability to work with hot cold and hazardous equipment as well as operate phones computers copiers/scanners and other office equipment.
The ability to move safely over uneven terrain steps or in construction zones.
The ability to see and respond to hazardous situations.
The ability to sit stand squat bend stoop twist walk and complete repetitive hand and write motions for periods of time as required for the position.
Must be able to hear see and speak.
Ability to comprehend instructions and retain information.
Must have manual dexterity necessary to complete all job duties.
Must be available to work in Canton Ohio.
