About the Role
An Independent school in Islington requires a dedicated RE Teacher starting ASAP for a temporary parttime position. The right RE Teacher will deliver engaging lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging RE Teacher lessons tailored to the curriculum.
- Prepare students for assessments.
- Develop students understanding of religious and philosophical concepts.
- Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback.
- Contribute to the development of RE resources.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in Religious Education.
- Proven experience teaching RE at secondary level.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for religious studies.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students.
