Job Description
Location: Saranac Lake NY 12983
Assignment Length: 13 weeks
Open to Local & Travel Candidates
Position Highlights:
- Work Hours: 8hr Day
- Schedule: 40 hours / week guaranteed
- Weekly Pay Rate: $2000 $2240
The Physical Therapist provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to help patients regain strength mobility and independence. This role involves creating individualized treatment plans educating patients and collaborating with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients physical abilities and conditions to develop personalized treatment plans.
- Administer therapeutic exercises manual therapy and other interventions to improve mobility strength and function.
- Monitor and document patients progress adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
- Educate patients and families on exercises safety techniques and strategies to promote recovery and prevent further injury.
- Collaborate with physicians occupational therapists and other team members to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records adhering to all documentation requirements.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required.
- BLS: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- License: Active NY RN license is required
- Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in Physical Therapy.
- Skills: Strong communication patient education and problemsolving abilities.
- Candidates residing 50 miles from the facility are eligible for travel pay.
