Job Description

Employment Solicitor (Education) FullTime Hybrid

Salary: From 80000

Our client is seeking a Newly Qualified to 2 years PQE Solicitor to join their specialist Employment/Education team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with leading Higher Education and Further Education clients as well as some Academy and School clients. You will be part of a collaborative team handling both contentious and noncontentious employment law matters.

The Opportunity:

As an Employment Solicitor you will work closely with clients providing expert legal advice tailored to their needs. You will have the chance to work on highquality matters and develop your career within a supportive and dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

Attending and running client meetings

Taking instructions and offering clear legal advice both in correspondence and in person

Drafting tailored documents letters and contracts

Delivering training to clients on employment law issues

Negotiating with clients and professionals to achieve objectives

Representing clients in tribunals and instructing barristers or specialist advocates

Preparing papers for tribunal cases

Supporting senior staff on complex matters and delegating tasks to junior team members

Producing internal bulletins and contributing to the firms thought leadership

Taking a proactive approach to business development and client relationship management

What You Will Need:

Previous experience in employment law with Education sector experience being highly desirable

Strong IT skills including proficiency with case management systems

The ability to manage files effectively and work efficiently

Enthusiasm for business development and a willingness to take part in related activities

Excellent organisational and communication skills

A proactive approach to problemsolving and managing client relationships
