Corewell Health is offering up to $6000 as a sign on bonus for this opportunity!

About the unit

The Neurodiagnostic team is comprised of EEG Technologists EEG Technicians and Neurodiagnostic Assistants. These individuals work together to set up patients with appropriate equipment allowing for monitoring and recording of electrical activity of a patients brain waves. This in turn allows us to provide physicians proof of any brain abnormalities. The team provides support for Butterworth Helen DeVos Childrens Hospital Blodgett 25 Michigan and 35 Michigan.

Scope of work

The EEG Technician is an entry to midlevel position that performs EEG procedures according to department and Corewell Health policy and procedures.

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or Equivalent Required

  • Associates Graduate from a Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP) accredited Electro neurodiagnostic (END) Program Preferred

  • 6 Months Relevant Neurodiagnostic/EEG Experience Required

  • AHA or ARC Basic Life Support (BLS) Required within 90 days
