Job Title: Professional Business Analyst Consultant
Line of Business: Commercial Banking & Wealth Management
Number of Positions Requested: 1
Work location: 18 York Street
Target Start Date: ASAP
End Date or Tenure/Duration: 6 months
Rate: $95.00
Possibility of Extension/Conversion: Extension is very likely but will depend on candidate performance and available funding and workload.

REASON FOR THE REQUEST Support for additional work within an existing project that is being changed from waterfall to agile methodology.
GROUP INFORMATION how does your group fit in to the bank: Commercial Banking and Wealth Management work in close collaboration with CIBCs Personal and Small Business and Capital Markets strategic business units to lead and manage the organic growth client retention and profitability of CIBCs businesses. Commercial Banking in Canada includes the development and implementation of a strategic plan that effectively integrates the diverse activities of Commercial Banking including delivery network specialized industries business solutions segment strategy deposits and lending practices as well as across all functional responsibilities.
WHAT IS THE PROJECT THE CONTRACTOR WILL BE WORKING ON This role will be supporting the Unified Account (UA) migration project setting up a portfolio management tool for the private wealth line of business.
Who Will the Candidate Be Working with on a Daily Basis As part of the business PMO they will be working with the technology PMOs other PMOs within the bank as well as the business and operations teams.
Daily Job Duties/Activities:
Lead daily meetings to review and delegate tasks Conduct requirements gather sessions document process flows Review current state processes identify solutions to streamline processes/systems Work in collaboration with other analysts and architects to complete the story and align technology solutions with business strategies Prepares costbenefit and returnoninvestment analyses to aid in decisions on system implementation Demonstrates an informed knowledge of business functions to resolve problems and capitalize on improvement opportunities Supports one or more highly complex business processes Serves as a liaison between the business community and the IT organization in order to provide technical solutions to meet user needs
MUST HAVES
- 810 years of experience as a Business Analyst
- Agile experience
- Wealth project experience (portfolio management)
- FI experience
NICE TO HAVE:
- Wealth 360 experience
- Experience working on implementing a portfolio management tool
- Agile certification
- Mixture of BA/BSA experience
