Requirements of the LPN Licensed Practical Nurse
- Valid LPN license in WA.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- At least one year of practical nursing experience preferably in diverse care settings.
Responsibilities of the LPN Licensed Practical Nurse
- Conduct initial patient assessments to gather information on health conditions and medical histories.
- Administer medications and treatments under the guidance of registered nurses or physicians.
- Monitor patient health and record vital signs promptly reporting any concerning changes.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support the implementation of individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health conditions medications and postdischarge care.
- Ensure all nursing activities adhere to established protocols and regulatory guidelines.
- Engage in continuous learning opportunities to stay abreast of the latest LPN practices.
