Duties And Responsibilities
The duties below are representative of the position and not intended to cover all of the duties performed. Teach collegelevel income tax preparation courses 2. Consult with students during regularly scheduled office and lab hours 3. Maintain expertise in current teaching methodologies and curricula 4. Perform other professional duties as required by contract and general institutional needs
Minimum Qualifications
Possession of a Masters or above in accounting or business administration with accounting concentration from an accredited institution OR Bachelors in business with accounting emphasis or business administration with accounting emphasis or economics with accounting emphasis AND Masters or above in business business administration business education economics taxation or finance OR Bachelors degree in accounting or business administration with accounting concentration with a CPA license OR the equivalent (see below) Demonstrated cultural competence sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic socioeconomic cultural disability gender identity sexual orientation and ethnic backgrounds of community college students faculty and staff
Preferred Qualifications
Preferred experience with college or university VITA programs or professional tax preparation/review experience.
