The role involves acting as a Private Client assistant and providing administrative support to partners and fee earners in the Private Client Law team. Responsibilities include meeting and greeting clients both in person and over the phone as well as offering administrative support to partners fee earners and support staff across all practice areas as needed.The position requires demonstrating a wide variety of administrative support skills and adapting to the needs of an expanding office. Punctuality politeness and a smart appearance are essential along with a welcoming and cando attitude.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and expertise:
- Excellent administrative skills
- Strong communication skills and good listening skills to understand clients needs
- Ability to clearly and accurately relay messages record information and update CMS databases and spreadsheets
- Proficiency in PC/IT skills and experience with Microsoft Office including Word Excel Outlook and a case management system
- Ability to take and record messages and instructions accurately from clients and other parties in a professional manner with good keyboard skills and typing ability
- Punctuality and good timekeeping and the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Ability to communicate effectively and clearly both internally with partners and fee earners and externally with clients service providers and stakeholdersExcellent attention to detail with a strong work ethic
- Good teamwork skills and able to work well both independently and within closely defined parameters
