Software Engineer Cellular Modem Firmware Developer (m/f/d) Tietoevry Create
On this project you will participate on development of new Cellular Modem for 4G/5G networks and beyond. You will be part of very interesting project and aggressive time to market schedule.
Specifically you will work around architecture design and implementation of cellular modem L1 control Firmware and PHY algorithms on DSP architectures for 5G NR and future standards.
You will collaborate with crossfunctional design team members including digital design professionals system architects and algorithm designers.
You will design L1 Firmware interfaces that facilitate communication with the protocol stack RF and signal processing hardware and create Firmware design specifications.
Location: Wrocaw Szczecin or remotely from Poland
Competences relevant for this role:
- C/C programming language skills
- Proven expertise in wireless systems design and Firmware architecture.
- Experience in Firmware design and development.
- Understanding of DSP architectures.
- LTE/5G NR physical layer concepts and knowledge of relevant 3GPP specifications.
- Effective problemsolving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills enabling effective collaboration with crossfunctional teams.
Some more nice to have skills (for better understanding of the project context):
- Linux/UNIX system administration including installation configuration and maintenance
- Experience with selfhosted configuration management and collaboration tools such as Jama BugZilla GitLab
- Expertise with build automation and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Scripting languages skills like Bash and Python for automation tasks
- Familiarity with IT deployment of EDA tools like Cadence Synopsys is a plus
