Job Description
Job Title: QA Automation Engineer
Location: India (Remote)
Type: Fulltime
About the Job Summary:
Job Responsibilities:
1. Interact with product owner project manager and Development and QA teams to develop a strong understanding of the project and testing objectives
2. Design and create test conditions and scripts to address business and technical use cases
3. Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases and build/script new tools for performing testing/validation function
4. Design develop and lead the automation strategy/effort and generate scripts to perform automated testing cycles using Selenium
5. Execute and analyze automation test results.
6. Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution
7. Document track and escalate issues as appropriate using Selenium tool
8. Support production deployment of applications and perform validation testing during the offhours maintenance windows
Technical Skills Required:
4 to 7yrs
Good development/scripting skills C#
Experience of automated testing tool Database skills mainly in SQL Server
Experience of automated testing tool Cypress
Must Have exposure to Appium Jmeter Postman etc. tools.
Good understanding of objectoriented programming J2EE architecture
Knowledge of Mockito library and Junit framework.
