Position Summary
The Manager will ensure all front office operations run efficiently between patients clinicians and staff. Primary duties include: manage patient billing charges and collection of payments manage patient medical records as well as perform other administrative functions under the direct supervision of the clinical director. This position requires communication with other LSUHSC (Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center) schools and departments referring clinicians other healthcare facilities and schools insurance companies patients and caregivers. We are seeking candidates with the following characteristics: the ability to be flexible multitask and adapt to the everchanging duties for the departments patient clinic strong problem solving skills confidence to make independent decisions and act accordingly and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with diverse populations.
