Job Description
We are looking for a hardworking energetic and reliable individual to join our team as a Pet Care Technician. The ideal candidate enjoys working with animals has a pleasant and courteous personality and can remain positive and upbeat even during times of stress. Experience is not required but is a plus.
Upon completion of the application and interview strong candidates will be asked to volunteer for a working interview in which they will observe one of our kennel technicians. $14$16 per hour. paid biweekly
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Supervises outside playtime for dog groups of all sizes
- Feeds guests at scheduled feeding times
- Ensures guests have clean water at all times
- Thoroughly cleans all indoor and outdoor areas of our facility to ensure the health of our guests
- Interacts directly with clients at checkin and checkout
- Performs other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- Pleasant/friendly demeanor and an outgoing personality
- Able to work weekends and holidays
- Must be a team player and able to communicate effectively with coworkers
- Highly professional and dependable
- Able to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs
- Able to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Confidence interacting with dogs of all breeds and sizes
