S&C is continuing to grow. Where do you come in We are looking for a knowledgeable summer student to join our team as a Packer on the Afternoon Shift.This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working as part of a team and wants to gain valuable work experience.
Work Arrangement: Onsite Afternoon shift: Monday Thursday; 4:00pm 2:00am
Work Location: 90 Belfield Road Etobicoke. M9W 1G4
As a Packer you will
- Use hand and power tools to assist the team with building and assembling crates to transport our products
- Move material using pump trucks and other devices
- Responsible for material handling and ensuring that we have the necessary parts and materials according to our work orders
- Maintain cleanliness of work area and follow organizational practices
- Other duties as assigned
Who are we looking for Someone who
- Is currently enrolled in a postsecondary institution (diploma or degree program)
- Ideally has basic power tool experience; however no prior experience is required
- Has strong mechanical/mathematical aptitude and manual dexterity
- Has good communication skills with the ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Able to work in a fastpaced work environment with minimal supervision
- Able to lift up to 22 lbs.
