Job Description
The Production Lead is responsible for knowing proper procedures and provides effective training to Production Associates to ensure productivity quality and safety standards are met. The Production Lead partners with Production Management to optimize workflow through the plant and aides in cultivating a positive work environment for team members by encouraging team effort and supportive attitudes between workers.
Essential Functions:
Uses encouragement and coaching in leading their team to consistently hit goal
Ability to work cooperatively with others on a team and to demonstrate interest skill and success in getting
groups to learn to work together.
Experience with successfully training Associates on essential job functions.
Approachable and easy to talk with. Builds rapport and develops strong team comradery and belonging.
Ability to read and comprehend instructions short correspondence and memos.
Actively participates and supports continuous improvement initiatives your job is to improve every day.
Reinforce expectations and support all associates in making improvements to their job.
Promotes a positive work environment that is aligned with Nixon Medicals Core Values.
Entering and understanding performance KPIs on the hourbyhour board.
Promotes safety awareness by demonstrating all safety standards ensuring compliance and escalating
concerns to Production Management as needed.
Understands the plant flow
Operates machines on production line to substitute for absentee Associates.
Ensures that general housekeeping standards are met prior to shift changes.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Adapt to and support departmental and organizational changes.
Communication:
Communicate clearly and handle conflicts professionally.
Empower and instill confidence in team members especially with new tasks.
Physical Requirements:
Wear a uniform and PPE as required.
Stand sit walk and use stairs frequently.
Work in various environmental conditions including dust and extreme temperatures.
Lift up to 75 pounds; work in moderate to heavy noise environments.
Qualifications:
High School diploma or GED.
23 years of related experience or training.
Key Responsibilities:
Operate machines efficiently to meet production goals.
Read and comprehend basic instructions and memos.
Utilize email and basic computer skills.
