Job Description

We are currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate aide to join our team at MacaCheek Learning Center. In this role you will work directly with students providing support in a variety of areas including supervision attending to physical personal academic and emotional needs and offering a positive and nurturing environment.The ideal candidate will demonstrate a compassionate approach the ability to connect with students and a commitment to supporting their success in every way possible. If you have the heart to make a difference and the drive to contribute to a positive school environment we encourage you to apply.Key Responsibilities:Supervise and assist students in the classroom settingSupport students with their academic personal and emotional developmentFoster a positive and caring atmosphere to help students succeedBe a dependable and nurturing guide to help students grow and thriveQualifications:A passion for working with children and supporting their growthStrong communication skills integrity and maturityPatience empathy and professionalism when engaging with studentsA commitment to follow MadisonChampaign ESC rules and policiesA servantleader mindset dedicated to helping students reach their full potentialValid ODE Aide Permit (may apply after being selected)Satisfactory results on criminal records check including fingerprints requiredExperience with students with intensive behaviors preferredCandidate must be credentialed in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) OR be able to attend 4 days of TCI training and pass TCI testSend resume and cover letter to:Cynthia Williams SupervisorMacaCheek1130 W.
