TheChristiana Hospital ORRadiologyDepartment is currently recruiting for a FullTime Rad Tech to work the evening shift. This individual will also work every 4th weekend with a rotating holiday schedule
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Complete knowledge and proficiency in the use of radiographic equipment
- Developing and identifying radiographs; which includes proper identification of film date and time
- Performing clerical duties when necessary: receptionist and scheduling duties completes forms on clinical etc. and various filing duties
- Assisting with the training of radiology technology students
- Using and performing QC on PACS Computed Radiography and/or Digital Radiography Systems
- Operating the following equipment: Seimans Phillips and Ziehm
- Burn patient CDs
- EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- 3 years experience as a staff technologist.
- Completion of twoyear program in Radiology Technology is required.
- Associates Degree in Radiology Science is preferred.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted.
- RT Technologist experience preferred
- ARRT Registered Technologist required
- Delaware license
- Certification in CPR
- Flexibility in hours and duties is required
