About the Role
The SAP EWM/WM Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting and enhancing our SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) system ensuring optimal performance and efficiency within our automotive manufacturing and distribution processes. The successful candidate will collaborate with crossfunctional teams analyze business requirements and leverage their expertise to design implement and maintain SAP EWM solutions. This position is responsible to ensure and maintain a high level of support corresponding to the team leads in all activities of the department and ensure active participation in the daily business of his/her functional responsibilities. Need an analytical welleducated knowledgeable experienced and motivated teamplayer with strong IT background work ethic and integrity that will become a key part of ITSAP Team to implement and provide adequate support for EWM modules to SAP users across locations of North and South America region. Suggest and implement improvements for EWM processes using SAP ERP S/4HANA. Need to provide training to users if needed or requested. This role uses business knowledge IT background SAP concepts and good communication skills.
Your Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and gaps not met by the existing systems / implementations. Identify feasible solutions within SAP framework and estimate effort needed. Assist in systemrelated issues of manufacturing/warehousing information processes/procedures. Design practical creative conceptual technical solutions for business requirements balancing appropriate technology cost and implementation timeline.
- Implement solutions using SAP configuration master data setup or code. Provide support in the creation of query reports/programs barcode solutions commercial forms EDI processes educational sessions general consulting and project managers if requested.
- Provide daytoday SAP enduser support and work on enhancement projects globally and support rollout projects.
- Create a positive work environment by demonstrating and sharing functional/technical knowledge. Effectively uses teamwork to positively contribute to a highmorale/highperformance team culture consulting attitude and strong personal integrity.
- Assist in the coordination and collaboration of external consultants. Assist in generating task procedures for I.T administration. Ensures timetracking of his/her projects and tickets.
- Develop and adhere to standards for design testing change control code deployment software controls configuration management continuous integration and troubleshooting and root cause analysis of application problems
Who we are looking for
Bachelors Degree in Information Technology Computer Science Business or other related field.
Must have knowledge of EWM module experience in SAP and have a good understanding of manufacturing business processes. Nice to have interface knowledge with other modules such as SD MM QM and PP.
Must be able to communicate in English. Working knowledge of other languages is a plus.
Your preferred qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of SAP working experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
- Endtoend SAP EWM/WM implementation experience.
- Relevant SAP certification is a plus.
Experience in Tier1 Automotive Industry is a strong plus
- Proven experience as an SAP EWM Analyst knowledge of SAP EWM/WM configuration customization and integration with other SAP modules preferably in the automotive industry.
- Monitor and test all SAP EWM/WM processes and ensure changed solutions are not impacted by other module. Review and work up development requests & specs for ABAP programmers to develop customized functionality or reports to meet business requirements.
- Project management & coordination with divisions follow up periodic Review. Analytical and flexible approaches in the projects and coordination of available resources; Maintain/develop documentation mapping docs process docs.
- Must be able to work independently as well as a team player and can manage own workload. able to collaborate with users and have a strong desire to excel.
- Competency in Microsoft Office tools like Outlook Word Excel Project PowerPoint & Visio
- High external and internal service orientation initiative creativity diligence accuracy and social skills. Excellent performance and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills written and verbal good interpersonal skills.
