Job Title: Application Engineer
Background Experience:24 yrs experience
Reporting to: Sr. Manager Mfg Engg. & NPD
Function / Location: Product Design / Aurangabad
Job Purpose: To design fixture toolings & Gauges for in house machining components like Front Axle Beam Steering Knuckle & Crankshaft.
Principal Accountabilities :
- To design the new fixtures change over parts to accommodate the new components in the existing machining cells of Front axle beam Steering Knuckle & Crank Shaft using auto cad & 3D modeling.
- To design the standard & special gauges for Beam Knuckle & Crankshaft. New gauges design as per the process plan for new components.
- Prepare internal part drawing based on the customer component drawing.
- Prepare ballooning drawing.
- Prepare & Maintain ISO TS documents for tool design.
- Prepare & maintain the plant layout process sheets in Auto cad.
- Participate and promote Five S and Kaizen activities.
- As per the requirement of management timely allotted work to be executed.
Qualification / Knowledge / Skills: Diploma / Graduate in Tool design
